Cafe Deco review

A place I visit time and time again. The food, the interior, the selection of flowers and the friendly staff makes this place one of my favourites spots in London for a low-key lunch or dinner. At first glance, you’d think this place is more of a cafe than a restaurant, but the intimate setting and the choice of brasserie style chairs really work to create a laid back atmosphere. This is perfectly paired with their delicious wine selection.

One thing that sets this place apart is the comforting portion sizes, which theatrically overflow from your plate. As I looked up at the ceiling I noticed these lovely figure details drawn in pencil; yet another thoughtful touch to this restaurant.

I very highly recommend this little gem in the heart of Bloomsbury. I can’t wait to try 40 Maltby Street!
