A short list of my favourite wine bars in London

Bar Crispin

The food and drinks at Bar Crispin are exceptionally good. They have a really great variety of wines from different regions around the world, not to mention tasty seasonal food. This is a sister restaurant to Crispin in Spitalfields.

The 10 Cases

This wine bar only lists 10 whites and 10 reds (plus a couple of champagnes and a rosé) and buys only 10 cases of each wine. I always love a place that includes a handwritten wine list. The food however, could be improved and the portions are pretty small. I will say that it’s a perfect place to go if you find yourself around bustling Covent Garden.

Antidote Wine Bar

I highly recommend this cosy wine bar right off of Carnaby Street. It’s a great spot for an early drink and small nibbles such as olives ect. If you can, the best seats are at the counter top bar or outdoors.

P Franco

You may have heard about this one before, but this bar really does have something special. A combination of a wine bar, shop and restaurant, it effortlessly does all three the right way. It’s the perfect snug bar to easily spend an entire evening with your friends. It does get pretty crowded, so do arrive early to secure a seat.

And great news- It just reopened thanks to Crowdfunding!

Dan’s

I love this place. Dan’s is an intimate, low-lighting- candle lit wine bar that promises a wonderful catch up with close friends or a romantic date night. My favourite is the chilled red wine.
