SUDESTADA- ‘Make Yourself at Home’

Curated the first solo exhibition of Mexico-City based multimedia artist Ximena Prieto at SUDESTADA, a multidisciplinary agency and studio at the intersection of fashion and art. The exhibition marked the inaugural event of SUDESTADA’s many future collaborations with brands, artists, and creatives.

‘Make Yourself at Home’ explores the echoes of ancestral memory and the diaspora of the imagined home through an installation of sculptures and vases that attempt to create and nurture the fragmented conception of identity in an immigrant family and the homes we construct in the process.

The exhibition took place at SUDESTADA’s Greenpoint loft studio.
